Finally...An Update... has been over a month since I last sat down and updated this. Time sure does fly when you're....well it certainly flies.

Anyway, the first thing you may notice upon coming here is that this is an entirely new page. I don't want to dicuss what happened before, but let's just say, I nearly got into some real serious trouble. Apparently MY definition of meaningless details is someone else's definition of wayyy too much personal information. Whatever. Go cry about it. (And they did)
So yeah, I archived and privatized everything I wrote back in 09 (this way, I still have it but the general public can no longer read it) and after banging my head against the wall for two weeks and
consulting 3 different "techie" friends, I figured out how to retain my web address and re-route it here. :)

When we left off, I was getting ready to go home  for Christmas, which was a welcome change from my everyday life here. I got to see SO MANY of my friends and spend a lot of time with my sister. I was home for Christmas for the first time in 3 years, which was nice and I spent New Years in Grand Rapids with Vania which was SO fun.

Best of all, because of Stephanie's flight schedule, I was able to spend an extra 2 weeks in Gaylord-bring my total trip to just under a month. With my parents gone all the time and most of my friends having "real" jobs or living elsewhere now, those two weeks were kind of boring, though I was able to catch up on all my favorite TV shows and several books. Plus, Sharon Wyrembelski, my high school theater director, asked to me to help cast the latest production-You're A Good Man Charlie Brown. I was a little anxious because looking back, my time at St. Mary's was NOT that awesome, but I loved every minute I spent there over the 3 days. I never realized just how difficult casting was, so it was interesting to be on that side of the production. And the kids were super friendly and thought I was just the coolest. LoL

Coming back to Switzerland was SO HARD. There is a lot going on within my family I feel guilty about not being around for and I miss my friends a lot more than I did before. I've come to appreciate Gaylord a little more and was sad to leave the place where everywhere I go, someone knows me; especially when I had to come back to a place where very few people even speak the same language as me. I can't really travel much because it costs SO MUCH and I have other bills I still have to pay. Plus, I FINALLY figured out what I want to do with the rest of my life (it came right back to exactly what I was going to do when I graduated high school-talk about wasting the last 5 years, I could already have a job). So now I'm just hanging out and biding my time, hoping the next 7 months sail by and I can get back to America and get on with my life.

Anyway, I know this isn't much of an update, but if I analyzed the entire last month, I would be writing for hours. I'll try to finish sprucing up this page and next time I write, I'll just pick up from today....
